What we (CB Koch and I) have been able to gather so far:
 
Dr. Anthony DeSiena collapsed on Friday evening and died of heart failure on the eve of Sunday, October 25, 2009. 
 
The Eugene Chamber of Commerce - with whom he had been associated since 2000 - stepped in immediately to oversee/guard his office as his ex-wife was out of town.  We understand she was due back last night. 
 
 We are not sure, at this moment, who is overseeing his charts.  CB reminded me - and I pass on to you - the reminder to name an overseer in your will.  Patient charts need to be protected, made available and stored.
 
A Memorial Mass will be held at St Mark's here in Eugene at 11:00 on Thursday, November 5th.
 
His office is probably the best place to send condolences ... 771 Washington Ave., Eugene, 97401.
 
I am so sad he is gone.  While we didn't socialize nearly as much as I would like to say we did - and it was a HUGE frustration not to be able to help him any more than we/I could - he was a comforting presence amongst us.  He will be missed.  He is missed.
