Anthony DeSiena

The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Eugene for Dr. Anthony DeSiena of Eugene, who dies Oct. 23 as the result of a heart condition.  He was 58.  A reception at St. Mark's will follow the service.

He was born April 23, 1951 in New York, to Salvator and Marion Uzzi DeSiena.  He married Mary Addams in June 1987, in New Jersey.  They later divorced.

He received a bachelor's degree from New York College and a doctoral degree from New York Chiropractic College.

He worked as a chiropractor in Eugene for the past 13 years.  He previously worked as a computer software engineer for Amdahl Corp., in New York.  He worked to get non-smoking laws adopted in Oregon.

He is survived by his former wife; his mother; a son, Evan, of Eugene; a stepdaughter, Dara Marsello of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; two brothers, Robert of Edison, N.J., and Stephen of Holmes, N.Y.; a sister, Marion Kozakiewiez of Coral Springs, Fla.; and two step-grandchildren.
